When you sign up to receive periodic email updates from The Model Answer, your email address is stored in our password-protected WordPress database, and we will use it only for the purpose of sending you our updates. Similarly when you purchase a licence from this site, your personal details (name, address, phone number, email address) are stored in our password-protected WordPress database, and we will use them only to maintain your customer account on our site.

We will never share your email address or other personal details with any third parties, or use them for any other unauthorised purpose.

When you pay for your purchase using the “Credit or Debit Card” option on the Checkout page, you will be asked to enter your bank card details directly on the Checkout page. These details are then encrypted and sent on to Braintree Payments, where bank card data is stored in an encrypted form using industry-standard and well-studied encryption algorithms. We at The Model Answer are never able to retrieve your bank card details, and instead use an opaque token to reference the card.

When you pay for your purchase using the “Bank Card or PayPal” option on the Checkout page, you will be taken to a separate payment page hosted on the PayPal website, where you can enter your bank card or PayPal details. These details are never sent to our own website, and it would be impossible for us to gain access to them even if we wished to.

In other words, however you pay for your purchase, we will never have access to any of your bank card details, and no such details will ever be stored on our own server.
