Purchasing a single-user licence

We hope that after using your free trial copy of Rainbow Analyst Professional you will decide to purchase a licence and continue using Rainbow. A single-user licence costs £99.00, and you can pay via PayPal, share*it!, or cheque as explained below.

If you are already using an earlier version of Rainbow Analyst Professional, you can upgrade to the latest version 5.1 or version 6.0 at no extra charge. However, versions 5 and above require a different licence key from versions 4 and below, so please contact us if you need a new licence key.

Purchasing via UK cheque or bank transfer

If you wish to pay by cheque from a United Kingdom bank account, you can send a cheque payable to TheModelAnswer to Mike Shallcross, TheModelAnswer, 64 Faringford Road, Stratford, London E15 4DW, United Kingdom. Please let us know your email address and your Excel user name.

Alternatively, if you are purchasing for corporate use and wish to pay by bank transfer, please contact us so that we can send you an invoice with our international bank transfer (IBAN) details.

Purchasing a site licence

A corporate site licence for Rainbow Analyst Professional is also available, priced at £990.00 (or currency equivalent), with discounts for multiple sites. For each site licence we will supply an individually customised version of Rainbow Analyst. We will invoice you for your site licence, and you can pay by UK cheque or bank transfer (IBAN details on invoice), or by using the PayPal button below:

If you already have a site licence using an earlier version of Rainbow Analyst Professional, you can upgrade to the latest version for a charge of £149.00. Please contact us to arrange delivery of your upgraded copy of Rainbow; we will then invoice you, and you can pay by UK cheque or bank transfer or by using the PayPal button below:

Obtaining your licence key

Whether you used share*it! or PayPal to purchase your single-user licence, as part of the transaction you will have been asked to supply your Excel user name. This is so that we can email you the correct licence key (which is linked to your user name).

If you are using Excel 2007, your Excel user name is also your Microsoft Office user name. You can find this as follows:

• Click the Microsoft Office Button and then click Excel Options.
• Click the Popular category.
• Your user name is shown under “Personalize your copy of Microsoft Office”.

If you are using an earlier version of Microsoft Excel, you can find your Excel user name by clicking Tools, Options, then the General tab.

If you have purchased a site licence, we will supply you with a single licence key which is independent of the user names of individual users.

Installing your licence

To set up your fully licensed copy of Rainbow, you will first need to have a free trial copy installed. Please see our Download page for details of how to download and install your free trial copy.

As explained above, you will also need your licence key. If you have not yet received this, please contact us at the email address below.

You can now install your licence very simply, by clicking About Rainbow (under the User Guide menu on the Rainbow tab in version 6.0, or on the Rainbow drop-down menu in version 5.1) and entering your licence key exactly as supplied to you. This will convert your copy of Rainbow from a free trial copy to a fully licensed copy.
